A radio station just outside Toronto was airing one of those “Today in Rock History” segments, when they said something that made me cringe and burst out laughing at the same time.
Apparently on that day several years back, Pearl Jam had severed their association with Ticketmaster, the multi-national concert ticket agency. According to this particular radio broadcast, the members of PJ alleged that Ticketmaster was charging “exuberant prices” for concert tickets,
It made it past the writer, it made it past the producer, and it made it on air.
